We were thrilled to see how much everyone enjoyed Part I of our newest blog series, "Meet Our Ambassador." Keep an eye out as we'll be sharing even more stories - highlighting our Walking Cradles Ambassadors.
These features really allow our Walking Cradle community the opportunity to get to know and connect with our Brand Ambassadors as they share with us their passions, their shoe journey, and why they made the decision to become part of the Walking Cradles family.
We know Part II will ignite just as much inspiration and excitement, as we introduce another wonderful woman who we've grown to know and love collaborating with!
Gail is just a fabulous woman, paving the way in fashion, lifestyle, and social media through her blog & overall online presence! As shared on Life Begins After 50, "Embracing her ‘over 50’ age, it was a logical ‘fit’ to combine Gail’s love for fashion, skincare & makeup with an ‘ageless’ forum for tips, inspiration and savings of quality fashion, beauty & lifestyle; hence ‘Life Begins After 50’ was born!"
We loved learning more about Gail's life, and how she began this journey!
"I’m a native New Yorker! I have been in the fashion industry since I was 16 years old and started my career by managing a beachwear shop for B’Altman & Co. in Greenwich CT when I was 17," Gail says.
"I majored in fashion marketing at Umass at Amherst and taught fashion at the community college level. I managed and owned my own licensed model & talent agency in Scottsdale, Arizona for many years!"
Gail & her Husband
Gail remembers first learning of Walking Cradles when she came across us through our social media, already having been in the blogging game for a while!
She describes discovering the extreme comfort and support Walking Cradles had to offer, and how that led her to learning more about our shoes.
"Many of my jobs involved working several hours at a time, and although I was not ‘always on my feet’, I knew the importance of women of all ages having ‘all day’ quality and comfortable shoes," Gail says.
Whether it's through a review, a post on our Facebook page, or a quick story shoutout to our Instagram, it makes our day when our Walking Cradles family discovers their new go-to style!
It's such a treat to get to see where they've traveled and the adventures they've experienced while rocking their Walking Cradles!
Gail shared with us how she's always receiving compliments on her Walking Cradles kicks!
"I moved to an active golf community a year ago. Whenever I’m at women’s events and wearing my WalkingCradles, I always have at least one gal ask me where I got my shoes and how they look ‘sooo comfy’ !!!"
One thing we enjoy most about growing our Walking Cradles family is that we are always getting the chance to learn more about our Ambassadors, and their journey. We love getting to hear what keeps them motivated and sparks their creativity, and how being a Walking Cradles Ambassador may strengthen that.
"I feel very blessed to have been able to retire so young with my husband, and be able to blog full-time," Gails says.
"When my two boys were young, I stayed at home with them and worked as a freelance writer for many years - so I’ve always loved to write! I only work with fashion partners whose products I truly believe in and Walking Cradles is one of those companies. This is a beautiful quality, ‘all day’ comfortable shoe at a fair price. I am honored to be able to represent them as an ambassador!"

So, what are Gail's Walking Cradles favorites, you ask? We wanted to know too, since she styles them all so fabulously!
"I love all the styles I’ve received, but my two favorites are the Kara military style booties (so versatile to style!) & the Keegan wedge (comfiest higher wedge heel for summer that I own! )" Gail says.

"I recommend every style and love them all- any and all are ‘all day’ comfy. Walking Cradles is my ‘go to’ for ‘all day’ shoes!"

Gail is able to curate a fashionable look based off any one of our Walking Cradles shoes. Recently, she requested to try a customer favorite, the Freedom!
Gail, styled in a casual & super cute look while rocking the
Freedom in black perfed nubuck!
The Freedom slide is from a previous season, but it's an ideal go-to for the summer and even beyond! We also have two companion styles to the Freedom - Faulkner; a super cute & casual sling-back sandal, and the Fraley; a lightweight & sporty slip-on sneaker! Besides the total versatility, the overall best perk of these athleisure styles is their EVA•lution sole - a Walking Cradles signature construction that delivers that lightweight feeling and ultimate flexibility!
So what's the story about behind our EVA•lution® sole?
EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is an eco-friendly dense foam that is extremely lightweight, flexible and acts as an excellent and durable shock absorber in the sole of the shoes!
Look for indicating shoes that have EVAlution® Construction
on walking cradles.com!
We have no doubt, Gail's new kicks will easily become a new favorite of hers!
