Shipping and Handling

Our online orders are shipped anywhere in the United States. Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally, nor do we ship to international APO/FPO/DPO addresses due to processing limitations. We do, however, have select international retail partners that can be found here: Store Locator

All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service, unless otherwise indicated within your shipping updates. Please allow 1-3 business days for order and warehouse processing. Customers can typically expect delivery within 5-10 business days after the order is received; Business days are Monday through Friday and holidays are excluded. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once we receive your order and another e-mail notification when your shoes have shipped.

The current subsidized shipping charge is $7.95 for the contiguous U.S. (unless otherwise stated). For American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Hawaii, North Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, the standard shipping charge is $15.00. If customers reach a subtotal of $150.00 in merchandise during checkout, the initial shipping and handling charges are waived. However, please note that the initial shipping and handling charge IS NON-REFUNDABLE (unless otherwise stated). We appreciate your understanding!

In the case of a return, the item must be returned in its original condition and ordered directly from our website, Returned goods are accepted within 60 days of the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated (i.e. "All Sales Final").

In all cases, except in the rare case of a defective shoe, the shoes must be returned in their original condition without showing signs that they have been worn. This includes all packaging and labeling. If you are trying shoes on for fit, we suggest you walk on a clean, carpeted floor in your new footwear. Shoes that show signs of wear will not be accepted for a refund or exchange.

We appreciate your understanding that you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend sending your return using the original packaging in which it was received. The Walking Cradle Company is not responsible for returns until they are received in our warehouse. Customers are responsible for the safe return of merchandise, so please be sure to package them in a manner to prevent any damage or loss during shipping. Again, the initial shipping and handling charge incurred in ordering the item(s) being returned IS NON-REFUNDABLE (unless otherwise stated). Should you request a return shipping label, The Walking Cradle Co. reserves the right to deduct the return shipping charges from your refund. The Walking Cradle Co. in no way controls carrier shipping rates and charges for your return. 

Please complete the return form in full and include it inside the return package. This is essential for processing a return or exchange. A blank return form is included in your original package for your convenience. If you did not receive a return form with your online order you can download a printable copy on this page (see link above). You may also include a copy of your order confirmation (found in your e-mail inbox).The return form is only valid on orders placed through If you have purchased your Walking Cradles through another retailer, you must comply with the return requirements of that retailer for processing. We are unable to process returns or exchanges for items purchased through a third party, such as a partnering retailer. Likewise, items purchased directly from may not be returned to any of our retail partners: Available selections, processing and policy restrictions vary from store to store.

Please indicate the reason for the return using the form provided, and in the case of a fault or error on our part, please provide a full description in the space provided. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our service.

All footwear will be inspected upon return.

In the unlikely instance that shoes have been shipped to you that do not match your original order, we will refund both your shipping and handling charge incurred in ordering the product(s) being returned. If you wish to exchange your shoes for another pair, please specify this on the Return Instructions. Please note that we can only issue even exchanges (example: same shoe style but a different size/width or color). If you wish to exchange for a different style, simply follow the return process (see Return Form) and place a new order online.

In the case of a defective shoe, please send us a minimum of three photos (either via mail or email) of the shoes clearly showing the defective area(s), along with a photo or copy of your receipt. The receipt must clearly indicate where the shoes were purchased, the date of purchase and the price you paid. We may also request that customers send their defective shoes to our warehouse for inspection. Defective shoes will be accepted within six months of the date of purchase.
