These are my second pair of boots from Walking Cradle. My first were the Harlow. I was blown away at how comfortable they were and the quality of materials of that boot. I wanted another pair of boot style to cycle back and forth from. I bought the Zuri exactly 30 days from from my first pair. I should mention that I'm not afraid to walk across the isle to find a boot or shoe that meets my minds eye. I was searching on Pinterest for the style of boots that I like and that is how I ended up at Walking Cradle.
Before I continue on the boot review I have to say that Walking Cradle sizing is True to Size and its very easy to find a size that fits. The fact that they have a wide gamut of sizes and that they also have all the different widths is awesome. If you are buying online I would would suggest to verify your actual true size by measuring your feet if you cannot get a professional fit from Walking Cradle. It takes less than 5 minutes to trace, measure, and convert.
The Zuri after wearing for 6 months is actually my favorite boot. When I first got it it was comfortable but tight. Within the first few weeks it stretched out as the stiffer leather conformed to my feet and lower shins. The nylon/polyester thread used in the sewing of the zipper on the upper leather near the zipper stop on the inside was a bit scratchy when the zipper was closed so I used a lighter to burn the edged ends of the thread to prevent the scratchiness and any future fraying.
