TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR ROLE AT THE WALKING CRADLE COMPANY.
My name is Debbie, I am the Accounts Payable Manager. Prior to this position, I worked in the warehouse pulling orders and shipping them out. I have also worked in the returns department.
TELL A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU ENJOY OUTSIDE OF WORK HOURS.
I have a daughter, Jessica, a son, Christopher, four grandchildren and a fifth one on the way. I love being in the great outdoors, and as a family we do a lot of camping and float trips. I love to fish and hike in the woods, looking for morel mushrooms. I also love gardening flowers and veggies.
TELL US ABOUT ANOTHER WOMAN WHO HAS PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN YOUR LIFE AND WHY.
My mother played a big part in raising me to be the person I am today. She raised eight children, then in her forties she got her drivers license, and went to college to become and LPN, which taught me that you're never too old to learn something new.
IF YOU COULD GIVE ANY ADVICE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF, WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
To go to college and get a better education.
BEFORE WORKING AT WALKING CRADLES, DID YOU CONSIDER THE IMPORTANCE OF SHOES FITTING PROPERLY AND COMFORTABLY? IF YES, WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU LEARN THIS VALUABLE INFORMATION. IF NO, TELL US HOW IT HAS CHANGED YOUR THOUGHTS ON FOOTWEAR?
I had never had my foot measured before working here. I now know that I've been buying the wrong size. A better fitting shoe is so much more comfortable!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WALKING CRADLES SHOE AND WHY?
My favorite shoe is the Pool Sandal. It is so comfortable and light, I can walk around in them all day with no foot pain.
